Connect your calendar and the tools you already use.

On this page

Connections are where your calendar and other tools plug in. One of them matters far more than the rest.

The Connections screen

Connections in the left menu. Sign in to a tool once and it stays connected.

Your calendar is the important one

Without a calendar, your receptionist can capture leads but can’t book. With one, it offers real open slots and puts the appointment straight on.

Without a calendar
It takes the details and a preferred time, then leaves you to confirm. That's a lead, not a booking.
With a calendar
It offers times that are genuinely free, books the one they pick, and confirms to both of you. That's a booking.

This is the highest-value ten minutes in setup

Booked appointments hold far better than callback promises, because the customer chose a time while the problem was still in front of them.

Connecting a calendar

  1. 1

Open Connections and pick your calendar

Sign in when prompted. You’re authorising access, not moving anything.

  2. 2

Choose which calendar to book onto

Your main work calendar, not a personal one — otherwise appointments land somewhere your team can’t see.

  3. 3

    Check your hours are set

Availability is your calendar and your business hours together. Empty hours mean no slots, even with a calendar connected.

  4. 4

    Make a test booking

Ring in, take a slot, confirm it appears with the right details — then cancel it so it doesn’t count as a no-show.

What changes once it’s connected

  • Offered times are genuinely free — it never double-books you
  • Appointments arrive with the customer's name, number, address and the job
  • You and the customer both get a confirmation
  • Bookings show in your funnel and their value counts in pipeline
  • Blocking time on your calendar immediately removes it from what can be offered

A useful habit

Block your calendar for drive time and lunch the way you would for a job. Your receptionist respects those blocks exactly, so your day stops getting quietly over-filled.

Other connections

Beyond the calendar, connections cover the tools you already use, so leads and outcomes reach the systems where you run your business, rather than living only here.

Which are available changes over time. The Connections screen shows what you can connect today, and the integrations pages on our site carry the detail for each one.

Three usual causes: no calendar connected, empty business hours, or a genuinely full calendar. Check them in that order.

Usually the connection has expired and needs re-authorising. See Booking Was Not Created.
